THE CORLEY ARCHIVE
Archival research project, drawing, and publication
The Corley Archive was an in-depth, commissioned research project working with archival materials and photography from the Frank and Eunice Corley Archive, held in the State Library of Queensland and the Asia-Pacific Design Library collections. Working alongside the collection's curators, the project produced new research, drawings, a handbound artist book and archive, a new exhibition, and a large charcoal triptych 'Sixteen', which directly referenced a still-standing home from the collection.
The new works and archives were first displayed in the exhibition 'Home: a Suburban Obsession' at the State Library of Queensland between December 2018 and July 2019. The works now form part of the State Library and Asia-Pacific Design Library's permanent collections.
