Site-specific light installation
SIGNALS was a site-specific, collaborative public light installation and text-based work commissioned for AT HOME, a site-based curatorial project exploring the concept of “home” and the built environment within real homes.
The work served as an exterior beacon for the project, while the interior was transformed through a week of programming: talks, exhibitions, and installations featuring more than 20 artists, academics, and performers investigating the home and its history. SIGNALS featured rotating texts drawn from the community, local artists, and academics, including Kait James, Rachel Morley, Dr Monika Schott, and WUW, exploring the social, cultural, and political contexts of the home and its site.
